Tanzania UK Diaspora children raises fund for PPE for Tanzania

TUHEDA would like to recognise the effort of Tanzania UK diaspora children in their effort to fight COVID-19. 

WAWE-TD ( Wales and west of England Tanzania Diaspora ) Youth group is a group of young people ages from 5-24 years, where the younger members are mentored by the older one.

Their main objective is to maintain and appreciate their roots. Tanzania, where their parents came from.

Their main ongoing project is a Health Matters Project for which they raise funds and bring awareness  about Diabetes. The aim is to send diagnostic kits to Tanzania .

They have also raised £140 toward buying PPE for frontline staff in Tanzania.

WAWE-TD contributed a total of £375.
